FOR ALL INSTRUMENTALISTS, SUPPORTERS OF ARMENIAN MUSICAL HERITAGE, IN THREE AGE CATEGORIES.

Competition of young talents aims to discover new names in classical music. Young artists will be given an opportunity to perform at one of the best concert venues in Moscow and take another important step toward their professional development.

The competition is open to all young instrumentalists aged between 7 and 17 years old, inclusive. The age eligibility for the prospective applicants is determined by the start date of the competition: November 6, 2019. Participants will be divided into three age categories: from 7 to 9 years old, from 10 to 14 years old, from 15 to 17 years old, inclusive.

I category 7 – 9 years old + -

To participate in the competition, it is necessary to provide recordings of two world classical works performed by the participant, one of which should be a work of an Armenian composer or be in Armenian style, and the second one – a composition by Russian or foreign composer. The total recording time of each composition should not exceed 10 minutes.
Technical requirements: video in mp4 format with a resolution of at least 720 × 576px. Recording quality should be without impediments and extraneous sounds, most importantly the sound should be clearly heard on the video.
The hands should be constantly visible on the video, and the video itself should be shot no later than 4-6 months before the submission of the application.
The participant must submit personal information as well – a photo of good quality, professional biography on 1 page of A4.
The participants should submit the online application with all the necessary files and video recording before December 10, 2019.

II category 10 – 14 years old + -

To participate in the competition, it is necessary to provide recordings of two world classical works performed by the participant, one of which should be a work of an Armenian composer or be in Armenian style, and the second one – a composition by Russian or foreign composer. The total recording time of each composition should not exceed 15 minutes.
Technical requirements: video in mp4 format with a resolution of at least 720 × 576px. Recording quality should be without impediments and extraneous sounds, most importantly the sound should be clearly heard on the video.
The hands should be constantly visible on the video, and the video itself should be shot no later than 4-6 months before the submission of the application.

III category 15 – 17 years old + -

Technical requirements: video in mp4 format with a resolution of at least 720 × 576px. Recording quality should be without impediments and extraneous sounds, most importantly the sound should be clearly heard on the video.
The hands should be constantly visible on the video, and the video itself should be shot no later than 4-6 months before the submission of the application.
The participant must submit personal information as well – a photo of good quality, professional biography on 1 page of A4.
The participants should submit the online application with all the necessary files and video recording before December 10, 2019.

Audience Choice Award + -

You can choose the winner of the fourth grant yourself – “Audience Choice Award”.The profiles of the finalists selected by the jury will be published on the website for voting. The vote start will be announced on the competition website and Armenian Assembly social media pages.

Jivan Gasparian Junior – founder of the group VIZA, grandson and successor of the legendary duduk maestro.
